THE PROBLEM: for actors of every type

Feeling alone as an actor onstage, disconnected from your body.

As an actor, have you ever felt alone on stage? In front of a camera? You don’t know what to do, you don’t know how to use your hands. In one word: lost.

We are both actors, and we felt this too. So, we decided to search for solutions.

OUR SOLUTION: The Relationship Method

We are constantly in relation to others, but we hardly ever realize it. Our method teaches you to understand these important relationships:

WITH YOUR BODY

WITH OTHERS

WITH THE ENVIRONMENT

How we met

We met 15 years ago, in one of the best Drama Schools in Italy, and we immediately felt the need (to go deeper), to find a way to be unique actors, rather than just good actors.

One day, Valerio told Chiara: “I think that ‘talent’ doesn’t exist. I want to open it up, and see what it is made of. And finally I want to put it back together”.

And that day our acting/theatre research began.

First we’ve started to study different acting traditions, trying to understand/steal the secrets from the experience of the great actors who inspired Stanislavskj, Strasberg, Mejerchold. We explored the relaxation of body and voice. We sweated behind the masks for endless hour.

And finally this ongoing research has led us to develop our own acting method: “The Realtionship Method”, and we started to teach it in different parts of the world: Italy, Canada and USA.
